When guests leave wayyy too early??

We invited friends over for dinner tonight. They arrived about 5pm and they had been out all day but were looking forward to dinnner. All was lovely, had a giggle, her hubby was falling sleep and they left about 20 mins ago. Now its sat night, we are both fuelled on vino and beer and have nothing to dooooooo.......

foned another couple and left a v/mail saying 'c'mere!' but doubt they will.....

anyone want to visit?  lololol

At our halloween dinner last night it wound up at about 1:30 and I thought that was too early!

What does really annoy me is people who don't arrive on time. People who say "so you said 7:30, is that 7:30 for 8?" - no it's 7:30 for 7:30. Lots of people seem like they try to be the latest arrival (more at parties than at dinners).

Would have liked to have popped over Teehee, but it would have taken me about 24 hours (if I was lucky).  Definitely next time though, just need a bit more notice

ooops, Fancyfree I'm one of those annoying people that is never ever on time, especially for a party.

I am so with you on that one! I had a Halloween party last night- started at 7, the first guest didnt arrive until 7.45!
