    Hi all,

Hannah, how are you feeling?  Hope booking in this afternoon all goes well.

I am now 4+5, and not a jot of symptoms except the odd twinge.  When do things start getting worse then ladies?!  I feel like I am flying blind; not much of a clue what to expect.  Haven't told anyone yet, except my OH obviously, so it doesn't feel real at all.

That said, I did tell the receptionist at the doctor, as I booked myself for next Wednesday.  Exciting!  Maybe that will bring some element of reality to the situation?!

Hope everyone is well, looking forward to your updates.

    xx

Hannah - Hope the booking in goes ok.

Katie - With Charlotte it was just before 6 weeks that I started to get the awful tiredness and nausea.

Well I'm ill Bawl.  I've got some sort of tummy upset, and have been worried about if it will affect the pregnancy.  I hope not, but I'm a bit paranoid.  I spoke to my midwife yesterday and have an appointment for the 18th November.

  • Re: ***Thursday 1st Tri***

Hannah - hope everything goes ok for you x

Katie - I know what you mean! It totally doesn't feel real at all yet to me either. Other than really mild stretching pains and sore boobs and being a bit tired I feel normal, which I didn't expect. I found it really weird telling the receptionist too - saying 'I'm pregnant' for the first time was really weird!

Conanetta - Hope you get over the tummy upset soon x

As for me, I'm feeling pretty good, as I said. Just tired really, and hungry! Booked in at the doctors yesterday, have to go see my doc about someting else anyway, then I've been booked in to see the midwife on 24th Nov when I'll be 8+5 which seems an age away.

    Hey everyone

Hannah, hope everything goes well at booking in x

Katie, I got some aches and pains in first few weeks, then tiredness set in about 7 weeks or so, and been knackered ever since!  Nausea on and off since I found out but no actual sickness

Conanetta, hope you feel better soon xx I had a stomach bug two weeks ago it was awful, forced myself to eat dry toast and drink water throughout to stop getting dehydrated so hopefully all will be well with baba.

Sparkling, hope your LO is better today and that your sickness passes in time to celebrate your anniversary tonight, congratulations xx

Mrs Lord - oh that's the other thing I've had, constantly starving, can't stop eating - it's weird to be starving and nauseous at the same time!  Not put on any weight really, maybe a pound, so I'm quite surprised at that - maybe I'm having a tapeworm instead of a baby lol

I'm feeling pretty sick today, did throw up this morning which is the first time, I've had lots of nausea but no sickness so thought I'd escape it boo :-(

have sneaked home at lunchtime to put my feet up for half an hour and hope that makes me feel better, stuffy office wasn't helping me.

3 weeks today till scan, seems like so long away, I can't wait for it to come.  Although I do have this weird paranoia that we're going to go and there'll be nothing there like I've imagined it all - weirdo ;-)

Hope everyone is managing to have a good day

Hi all, L just packed off to nursery so I can put my feet up the ironing board up!

Hannah, hope your appt goes well

Katie, it's completely normal to have very little in the way of symptoms, I had few with my 1st

Conanetta, hope you're feeling better soon, babies are so resilient I'm sure all will be fine

Mrs Lord, I can join you with the hunger! Trying to pick the right things but it's tough

    Sparkling, Happy Anniversary!

Claire, sorry you're feeling sick, hope it passes soon .x.

Me, I'm good, a bit tired and feel like my belly is huuuuge already so went and bought a couple of baggy tops from Next this morning as I don't want anyone to know/guess for a good bit yet! Had hoped to keep quiet til I've had my scan!

Have a good afternoon and evening ( although if you're anything like me, you don't see much of the evening!)

    Glad everyone is feeling well.

I too feel i'm making it up- but i'm not complaining.

The only symptom i have is that my boobs have gone from 32B/C to 36D- my H loves them but i'm not entirely sure

When i told the receptionist at the Dr's she actually looked surprised and said- "you think you're pregnant!"

    Hi all,

Bit late getting on here today... H & I both had a day off work so it's been lovely spending the day together. We went to a local garden centre for lunch and they've got all their xmas stuff out already so we had a good mooch around that and even bought some new decorations.... i'm feeling all christmassy nw and want to put our tree up! Laugh Had a bit of a weird moment when we were there when i suddenly came over all emotional thinking about how christmas 2010 will be even more special cos we'll have our LO. It was all i could do not to burst into tears right there. Stoopid pregnancy hormones!

Well i've now been nausea and vomit free for 3 whole days!!! It's a miracle. I'm getting used to it, s i hope the m/s doesn't suddenly return again when i'm up early for work tomorrow.

To all those of you who are only 4-5wks and say it doesn't feel real yet.... i'm 11wks and i still dont feel like its real... and i've even had a scan and seen there's actually a baby in there Laugh I don't think it will really sink in for me until i'm passed the first tri and have a bump of some sort appearing. Also about not having any symptoms yet.... i was paranoid at around 5 weeks that i didn't have any symptoms but a 6wks the m/s hit with a vengeance and then i was wishing i didn't have it. My worst symptom at the mo is being so tired all the time. And not just tired but physically exhausted. What am i going to be like when i've got a big bump and extra weight to carry around if i'm like this now??  Docshell, i wish i had your symptom of boobs getting bigger.... mine are tiny and them getting bigger is one of the things i'm most looking forward to but it doesn't seem to be happening yet Sad

Can I join you all !

I am currently 8+5 with baby number 2, my little girl turns 3 in December.

Feeling pretty terrible at the moment and lucozade is my only friend, I suffered with HG throughout my first pregnancy and am hoping that this is just a passing phase (keeping everything crossed) cannot believe how tired I am feeling too.
I did go to the doctors when I found out but he told me to go back at 10 weeks, so a little more waiting for me to get booked in and scans arranged.

Look forward to joining in and getting to 'know' you all

    Sarah x

    Hi

Can i join tooWave  I am 6+6 and we had an early scan on Tuesday and found out we are having Twins!  really happy about that.  Don't know if anyone else is getting this but I am craving food that's not generally good for you like crisps and chocolate.  Although I am trying to eat fruit as well its not easy.  Have had nausea since 4 weeks when we found out, haven't actually been sick yet which is a bonus.  But in the last 2 days I have come home from work exhausted!  Today I have done none stop eating I think I have worms too!  Saw the dr yesterday and when i told the receptionist I was pregnant with twins she kept saying how wonderful which made me feel great, although I sort feel like a fraud almost like its not real just because you can't tell yet.  I have my first midwife appointment on 19th November, hopefully by them I will have read all the information the dr gave me and collected all the freebie bags from boots etc!

I am scared about coping with 2  I hope I won't be a bad mother!

    Evening all.

Conanetta, I am sorry you're not well.  Hope you feel better this evening.

Hi Mirs Lord, I have literally only said the words "I'm pregnant" once, to the doc's receptionist.  With my OH, we were looking at a test, and that sort of did the talking.

    Hannah, hope all is good.

Hi Sparkling, is E on the mend?  Red roses sound very lovely - hope you enjoy them.

Hello cw, sorry the full-on MS struck you this morning.  Know exactly what you mean about the constant hunger...

Bellabop - hello there!  My trousers feel tight already but I think it's last week's gigantic chocolate craving (I ended up having 4 x 200g bars over the course of the week)...hope the new tops are nice.  Might be following the same route myself.  All my work clothes are really fitted suits - argh!

docshell - yay for the boobs, but are yours really sore?  Mine are completely ouchy even if something/someone just brushes against them.  Eg one of the cats stood one one boob when I was sleeping this morning, and I was pratically IN TEARS.  Cats in the bed = liability!

Kaycee - yay for now sickeness.  Glad you've had such a lovely day!  I'm sure the bump ' n' boobage will appear before long, too!

SezK - hello there!  Sorry you're having a bit of a time of it; fingers crossed it passes soon.

Mrs Cee - that's a rather splendid feline in your avatar!  And twins - goodness!  Congrats!  I too am keen to know more about early scan - was it private?  I think the fact there are two in there definitely justifies plenty of eating.  I am already yearning for tomorrow's breakfast...awful, isn't it?!

bluebella - lovely scan pics.  Congrats!
