***Tuesday 1st Trimester***

Well i guess i will start this morning lol! eak!

There seems to be alot of us who came over here last night lol congratulations to everyone!

i am 9+2 today and just waiting for scan on friday, i hate it that i cant get exited about anything yet and i dont think i will for a while yet either! Im hoping after managing some breakfast that i wont be sick today but who knows every day is different lol!

AFM, I am now 4+3, and I rang the doc yesterday to get booked in.  It was so weird saying "I'm pregnant" on the phone - first time I have said those words!  Bought Your Pregnancy Bible and started reading it, but there's so much info there, I got a bit scared and went to sleep instead!  Terrrible night's sleep again annoyingly - have been awake since 04:40.  Might have to treat myself to a halfday or something - can't imagine getting through a full day on 4 hours sleep.

*katie* - Lovely to see you here.  I love My Pregnancy Bible, it was my favourite book when I was pregnant with Charlotte.

Right, I'll introduce myself now.  I'm Claire, married to K since 2006 and we have a 16 month old daughter called Charlotte.  I got a surprise BFP in July, which sadly ended in chemical pregnancy.  I feel more positive about this pregnancy, which is a good thing, although it's only very early days, as I'm only 4+2 according to FF.  Had some very minor nausea and achiness that's probably due to stretching.  Am planning on enjoying this week, as I'm expecting m/s to hit with a vengeance next week like it did with C.

morning all.

today is not a good day Eleanor has woken up with a stinky cough and wait for it a rash which i have to say looks distinctly like rubella.  However we're not 100% sure so I guess I'm spending my morning in my favourite hospital again.  Other than that she's as beautiful as ever.  However right now i could cry.  She's had the MMR.  Thankfully i'm immune to Rubella.

Ooh hello Conanetta!  Proper intros are a good idea given we're newbies, and - whilst I might have posted a bit abot me in yesterday's first tri thread, I did so at about 10pm so am sure I missed everyone!

So I am Katie, my partner S and I aren't married, but that's as we wanted it (strange that I am on Hitched all things considered!) - he and I have been together for over 8 years now, before which we were flatmates for a year.  He is 34 and I am 33, and this is #1, though we have one dog and three cats, so the household is a busy one!  I am the main breadwinner - my job is very well-paid and his is freelance/isn't - so lots to think about in terms of who'll be the main caregiver etc.  But anyway, that's getting ahead of myself!  Like Conanetta, I have some achiness and the odd cramp, but otherwise feel fine.  Have a bit of a thing, a miniphobia I guess, of being sick (I think I have only been sick about 6 or 7 times that I can recall in my whole life) so moring sickness is a bit of a concern...

Anyway that was a bit of a ramble, but at least now you all know who I am!  Looking forward to reading about everyone else xx

Good morning! Since a few of my TTC buddies have ventured over, I'll come too! Got my BFP on Friday, although didn't really believe it until Sunday. H and I had been away in London and it was a great weekend, we walked about sightseeing with permanent grins!

Anyhoo, this is my second baby, I have a 3yr old boy (4 in March) and been married for 5yrs. Feeling ok so far, not enjoying my food too much, can't make my mind up what I want and also the odd cramp but looking forward to another healthy pregnancy!

As for me I became an auntie yesterday and one of my best friend had her second baby the day before so I've been able to cuddle 2 new borns in 2 days.  Madpuss is going in today to see if they can move her second which is breech so it could be 3 for 3!  Maisie has low blood sugar so is in scubu so I'm hoping to go and see her and my sister again today.  She was 3 weeks early and 8lb 5oz so a really good weight.  My HG seems to be at bay at the moment, the flip side though is that I worry something is wrong!  We have our 12 week scan 2 weeks today.

I posted on yesterdays thread but it was quite late by the time I plucked up the courage so I'll introduce myself properly here!

I got married in March, this baby was unplanned, but not unwanted - now I've got used to the idea I'm really pleased.

Suffering really sore boobs and keep getting severe hunger but otherwise feeling ok. Have had some low down, really mild period like pains this morning which from reading other peoples posts I think are stretching pains.

Haven't seen my Doctor yet as she's on holiday this week so I'm calling in today to book in for next week to see her when she gets back.

Well im ok, ashamed of myself as last night H and I ate one of the huge Fruit and Nut bars between us.  I promised myself I wasnt going to over-indulge in this pregnancy... not doing so well so far!  Thought I would do a little intro as well as there are so many new faces.  Im Amanda, im 31 and have been with my H for 9.5 years.  We have been married for 2.5 years and have a 17 month old gorgeous little boy called Lucas.  I am around 7 weeks pg with no2!!  Am not feeling too bad today, I had no m/s at all with L but this time I definitely feel generally rougher.  Im exhausted a lot and feel nauseus quite a lot of the time.  Fingers crossed thats as bad as it gets, I also hate being sick!

I guess I'll try to be a little optimistic and join in!  I can't do personals as I'm on a dongle as we are changing telecom contracts.

I am 4+5.  it's routine to do your hcg in the first weeks here just to check it's all going ok.  I did mine yesterday for the first time this pregnancy and it came back 548. The range says 4- 5 weeks should be 1500 - 23000. I called my obgyn who said I shouldn't worry and that the range isn't always effective, it's if it doubles that is importnat and to redo on Friday. I'm so so worried as I've had a miscarriage and chemical pregnancy this year. I wish it was Friday! 

I spent the whole night being sick though with cramps. So either I have a tummy bug or MS.I also have that yucky wet feeling in my mouth.

I already have a 3 year old daughter.

Sparkling - oh no, i hope poor E is ok. You (and she) are really having a rough time of it lately aren't you. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's just a random nothing rash and not rubella like you suspect. Keep us posted xx

Angeldust - get some practice in with all these new babies you've got to cuddle. How lovely. Is Maisie your neice's name? That's so cute. Also glad your HG is a bit better.... try not to worry it means something is wrong, just enjoy not feel/being sick all the time.

Tinks - i think when you're feeling sick and have m/s, you have to eat what you can when you can, so if a whole bar of choc is what you fancied then so be it I normally eat pretty healthily but so far this pregnancy i've eaten stuff i wouldn't normally eat or havent eaten for ages..... crisps, macdonalds, fish n chips, loads of coke/fizzy drinks.... i've felt so sick with m/s a lot of the time and this is the stuff that i've fancied and enjoyed so that's what i've eaten. Will try and get back to being more healthy when (if?) the m/s goes!

For those who don't know me - i'm kay-cee, i'm 30. H and i just got married in June, he's 29. We've been ttc since sept 08 and was actually just waiting for an appointment with the infertility consultant at the hosp. Got my bfp 2 weeks before the appointment! So although we'd been trying, it'd been so long with nothing happening, it still came as a surprise/shock. It's baby #1, due approx 19th May 2010. I had an early scan last week and saw baby wriggling around in there. Was very surreal to think that baby i saw on the screen is inside me! I've got another scan on 17th Nov when they will confirm my dates and do the various blood tests on me and nuchal test on baby. I've been having some pretty bad m/s, not just in the mornings but all day although <whispers> it seems to be improving slightly so hoping it'll go soon. Oh and so far we've only told my mum i'm pg, so it's good to have you lot on here to talk about it. Going to wait another 2 weeks then tell people IRL.

Ive just found out im pregnant so think that would be the first trimester (never sure what that meant until i watched my fav programme)  Exactly how pregnant I am is on my ticker so im not sure how that would be posted in the ways you guys post. eg 9+?

Im emj - 24 and due to get married in 2012 so will have the little one.  Wrong order for me but nevermind, still getting used to the words 'your pregnant' so forgive me if im a bit arrrrrggggghhh  at the moment but congrats to all you ladies who are def happy. xxx

No time for personals today as folk coming to dinner and need to get cracking! 

I am Jill and I am nearly 11 weeks pregnant with twins!  I am 34 and this is my first pregnancy.

After a good day yesterday morning sickness back with a vengence, tummy still uncomfortable with what i think is stretching pains.  My next scan not for 2 weeks so just counting down the days! Now off on holiday for the rest of the week so happy about that!
