Afternoon all,
I am a disgrace for not getting on here sooner, but the babies have run us ragged -the days just seem to fly by!!
Thanks for the BA Mrs Monkey, and thanks everyone for all my lovely messages :)
I was in hospital for 4 days and recovery is slow but getting there. Cant beleive theyll be 3 weeks old tomorrow! The impatient babies couldnt wait the 3 more days! :) quite nice in a way though as they chose their own bday and I got to experience some of 'labour' -the whole waters breaking totally freaked me out though as was so unexpected (I expected everything nice and planned on the weds!) and there was soooo much of the stuff!!! H ended up throwing my trousers away while I was in hospital as they were 'so gross' ha ha.
TMI -but worst part of whole thing was the whole 'lets put a hand and part of an arm up you to see if I can feel babies heads'....yeah thanks for that. I felt violated!! ha ha.
All happened very quickly, waters broke at 7.30pm as I was preparing for sunday nigth xfactor, h was cooking dinner, and they were born not even two hours later. I was 6cm dilated when they started surgery!!
All went well, got some amazing pics (on facebook if anyone is interested, email me your name and ill add you. Pearly81@hotmail.co.uk) and H also videoed the babies being pulled out of my tummy!
I lost over two litres of blood which was a bit scary and everyone was surprised at how quickly and well I recovered so Im very grateful.
I knew Id love Stan and Bella, but nothing prepared me for how much. They are so perfect and I feel incredibly lucky. Ive posted a few pics below. Just want to say hello to all fellow third trimesters -and hope you and your babies are all well, and those of you still waiting are not too uncomfortable.
