I know a Toby Nicholas with a one syllable surname

Last time around, our little boy was most likely going to be called Tobias/Toby Jacob, as it happens it just didn't fit him so he became Oliver Jacob.  This time round, we still like Toby but now aren't sure about middle name - maybe Tobias Joseph, Jonah or Samuel, again to be known as Toby.

We have a Toby Xavier Tristan, but I'm guessing maybe that doesn't fit into the category of 'going'. Laugh

Rusty, I'm not sure if I've said this to you before (in the deep recesses of my mind I feel I may have) but if Toby had been a girl, he was going to be Matilda! Great minds eh?

Maisie Mouse and Rusty the Clown - how strange, my Toby was going to be a Matilda if he had been a girl too!!  MM- how is your Toby's sleeping going?

We have a Toby John.  I wanted him to be Toby James but it was important for my H to have John as it was his Dads name, so I obviously would suggest both of these.

For some reason Toby Ryan and Toby Oliver popped into my head.....

..... though if you have a one syllable surname a longer middle name would be nice. Toby Sebastian is nice as is Toby William
