***Monday 2nd Trimester***

Morning all,

Its my birthday today and thankfully I don't have to go into the office - am out on client visits and should be back by 3pm - yay!!

Had a good weekend - we had a party on Saturday and then started the redecorating process yesterday. Unfortunately when we took the paper off on two walls in our lounge we discovered that we will need to re plaster it all which probably means we will have to put kitchen on hold but i would prefer to get a few rooms done properly. Felt baby move for the first time this weekend as well.

Happy Birthday Charliedaisy!!  Hope you have a lovely day!!!  I know all about the woes of decorating etc....we are nearly finished the full renovation of our house...phew!!!  Good luck with it!

Me - well after a weekend of more renovating, cleaning and painting Im exhausted!!!  Had a very dodgy belly for the last couple of days too so am trying to stick to quite plain foods in order to settle it down!  Feeling generally yucky   Ah well 5 days to work and then Im off for a weeks hols!  YEAH!

Meggy - omg, how can you be getting ready to go to big girls already??? I'm shocked (then again I was also shocked seeing MQ's BA and being on ttc together us lot)

me - feeling very excited as going to meet Madonna and Macca today for lunch at Mad's house. First time meeting hitchers so am all bouncey today. Felt some movement yesterday as well and very aware generally of a heaviness and roundness where my uterus is. Could feel it just now when I walked to the shop as well, very weird. Had some cramp like feelings over the weekend and wonder when BH can start in next pregnancies, surely not this early???

Just googled and BH can start as early as 6 weeks although most people dont feel them until end of 2nd tri. maybe I'm just ultra sensitive this time!

hmmmm it could be though Pip you never know!

What exactly do they feel like?  Is it just a kind of "tightening"?  feeling on your bump?

Pip - so exciting that you are meeting other hitchers! Took me a minute to realise - thought you were a real socialite, having lunch with the REAL madonna and Paul McCartney for a mo!

Me - after the lovely ball on fri night, had quite an eventful weekend. PIL have had a huge arguement, to the point of MIL stayed at ours on Sat and when she went home on Sun, FIL left msg saying he had taken off to a hotel and would see her during the week. Really difficult situation and from what I gather from H, not first time to happen. Think he got violent, which really isn't any good. I just hope it all gets resolved.

MMW- I don't envy you I hate decorating and general DIY. H thinks he's good at it but never quite finishes anything. Hope your tummy settles down too.

pip- Wow BH already. I don't think I was aware of any the first time round, if I had them. And movement - to me it makes it a little bit more real.

Me - nothing much to report really had a quite weekend - went to visit H's gran with Erin to keep her company for a couple of hours. She lives with H's mum and dad but they are on holiday at the min. Got 10 more days until my scan I can't wait and time seems to be going very slow. Had some bad news and good news last week. Some friends had their little boy but on the same day, in the same hospital another friend lost all the fluid around her baby. She was 16 weeks. She and baby are still being monitored, with a scan again this morning. I really would like to go and visit but don't want to rub salt into wounds.

meggy - sort of like light period cramps I guess. It feels different to the stretching though. It's not that often but I usually need to sit for a bit after as I panic.

Meggy - sounds like a busy weekend, you take it easy at work you hear?! How on earth have you got to the end of 2nd tri? It feels like 5 mins ago that you got your BFP.

Pip - oooh how lovely to meet some lovely hitchers!  Be sure to show us your pics of your Madonna and macca slippers when you get back   Congrats on the movements and the BHs - your body is obviously very keyed up to what it needs to do to prepare!

lish - oh no, just what you don't need with the ILs row.  Hope everything works itself out, your poor H as well.  That's a beautiful picture of the two of you though and get you with 2 posh maternity frocks!!

pebbles - fingers crossed all is well for your friend.  You could always text and see if she'd like visitors, or maybe send a card so she knows you're thinking of her?

Me - well I can officially no longer get my work trousers done up!! They are now held up with an elastic band on the button and a bump band doubled up and worn as a belt.  Sadly I'm nowhere near fitting in maternity trousers right now as my bump (if it can be called that!) is too low down so I don't fill them out right, so it'll be this malarkey for a bit longer.  My BF's friend has given her a big bag of maternity clothes that I can pick anything I want from though so that's exciting, I'm going round her flat later in the week to have a look at it all and see if it's any good.  As she's tall I'll have to take up any trousers but MIL is here this weekend so I could talk nicely to her.  Or I could just wait till my mum is here on the 7th November although that may be a little late! At this rate I'll be wearing my joggers to work.

Had a horrible dream last night that I came to work and a man told me I didn't work here anymore and took me somewhere else in a great maze of desks and offices, when I got there I was sat with horrible people and I didn't know how to do the job they'd given me.  Really weird and a bit scary!

Im feeling well so hoping I can enjoy the next couple of months!  Cant do personals at the mo.. as got an meeting in about 5 mins, but just wanted to say helloo! ill try and get on later but if not will post properly tomorrow..happy monday to all!

Afternoon all,

Am back from work and having a relaxing day for the rest of the day - H is out at work and then out with his friends this evening (not too upset though as our birthdays are very close together so we are going out to celebrate both at the weekend)

Goldfish - hi, how are you? How was your trip down south? Don't know the sex just can't type that early in the morning!!

Mrs Meggy Winehouse - sorry you are feeling poorly but glad the renovation is nearly finished, we are just starting and I am looking forward to having it all finished!

Pip - hope you are having a lovely time with Madonna and Macca. I have also been feeling heaviness around my uterus - so reassuring when i hear other people have been too

lishdesign - dress is beautiful. Sorry to hear about your parents in law - hope things get resolved one way or another

pebbles - quiet weekends are nice sometimes. I am sure your friend would love a visit and won't think you are rubbing her nose in it

spacecadet - I am currently wearing a dress to work as it is the only thing that fits properly - going shopping for clothes on Thursday finally and hoping I will find something nice. That's good that you have someone who can lend you clothes - will save you money.
