Hey guys, another update on my Country Wife file....lololol

I'm on two weeks holiday from school now and last night we started to tackle the spare room and its horrendous collection of boxes!  By 11am yesterday we had made two trips to the dump and have loaded the jeep for a third!  I also have 4 large cardboard boxes of stuff for charity shop.  I wish I had the patience to sell the stuff we dont need and recoup some money but it needs to be gone nowwwww....  Waving goodbye to all our videos as we dont need them no more!  I have managed to fill two book cases with all my teaching stuff and other books but theres still so much thats homeless and we are thinking of getting a joiner in to do a major shelving job!

Already i'm thinking we will need to build an extension as this guestroom/library/office will become a nursery in a year or twos time! Did we need a bigger house after all?? Hubby realises hes going to have to bin a lot too....

I need some gardening books, encyclopedias almost, to help me name the plants and trees in my garden. Anyone?..... Our pond has also been giving us problems with some major leaks and we cant find where they are coming from which is a pain in the butt!

Oskar has been with us for 4 weeks now and you'd think he'd been with us for years!  hes off galavanting in the grounds of the big house at the moment.....he loves going for walks around the garden with me, never leaving my side but annoyingly always getting under my feet! I'll include some recent pics of him here.......

So my two weeks off will be spent playing housies and hanging out to speak to you guys from time to time. Hubby is without a contract at the moment so I guess we'll enjoy the time we are spending together even if its spent on doing home n garden.....

so, if anyone knows of any good garden books............. (i'll swap ya for some old videos??? LOLOLOLOL)

He's perched up high to look for pheasant...

    Oskar looks totally settled.

Everything sounds so exciting for you although I can understand you would be getting fed up with it all.  Sorry can't help with the garden books - hope you get some.

yup, he is. Very handsome too.  He walked around the garden with me this morning then just as he was about to leap off into the beyond he hurried back over to me for a final clap and nose rub before disappearing into the trees.  I did ask if we could just have more cats instead of children but H said no!

yeah i have looked at lots of tree and plant sites, thanks 3D for that link :)  However, a books easier to take around the garden  lolol. I'm eyeing up a Titchmarsh ones at the mo on amazon.....a good beginners one it would seem.....

Teehee, Where in Scotland are you? I've got loads of gardening books - free to a good home if you're interested. Alan Titchmarsh is always a good place to start tho - Good Ole Uncle Alan will keep you right!!

Marie I'll email you!!! I still have your email addy I think........ thank you!!

Oskars found a dead bunny :(  Think the bunnys been attacked by something and crawled into the bushes to die, so sad. However, Oskar kept thinking it was a toy! despite being in the neighbouring grounds we have covered it with foliage and hubby poured some petrol on it to keep any animals away from nibbling.... ewwwwwwww....... dont want my cat coming home with bunny-bugs. (As opposed to Bugs Bunny!)
