...and amazingly both twins were asleep at 7.50 and neither got out even once.

I assume this is  total fluke and we've many evenings of naughtiness and frustration ahead.

tonight tho' I am so proud of them, in their big boy beds.

what  a week - Sam to school and twins in bed....sob, they're all growing up too fastWeep

    Well done boys!

How was Sam's first week at school. Hope he's enjoying it after the battles you've had.

I had a sob over my boys growing up the other day. This was because I couldn't believe that they are 6 months old already!

    Wave

Oh god I've cried buckets about mine growing up.

I cried every night last week after putting Sam to bed and tucking him about him being off to school and wept like a loon after I got home from dropping him off on Mon...but he's loving school and was so ready for it my tears have dried up.

I'm a bit sad to see the back of the cots for the twins but they look super cute in their beds and they really couldn't stay in the cots much longer.

I expect my tears will be back for the birthdays this year and also when the twins finish stage 1 preschool in July.

I can't believe D&J are 6 months already....they'll be on the move soon.

Sharrington - on sep note do you want a parcel of matching items? I have quilted sleepsuits (like grobags with legs in 18-24 months) and coming up to a bunch of pairs of t-shirts etc. that your two could grow into

    well done boys!

we don't have too much messing around generally but are thankful that we can switch the lights off from downstairs with the trip as they can now reach the switch from one of their beds and this is a fav game to play when they don't want to sleep Wink

oh and the stairgate on the door helps too Devil

hope they continue to go down well beds are so much comfier Sleep

My two started preschool at the beginning of this month.  I'm ashamed to say that I spent most of the day before they started in tears at the prospect!!

Mr LM is a spark and has changed the switch in their bedroom to a dummy switch and now we can turn the light on from outside their bedroom...........that got one over on them Wink

Sairedy -  turning the lights off with the trip from downstairs is GENIUS. I think I love you!

LM - ahhhh. Mine don't start til Jan and will move after the Summer Hols but  the little gentle preschool we use for the first bit is soooo lovely I was a wreck when Sam left...with two of them and no one following in their foosteps (mean OH vetoed more kids) I shall be uconsolable at their various preschool starting/leaving and school starts I imagine. Oh dear.

I'm coming to Bristol, well Chip Sod, the first weekend in November until the Wednesday of that week. It'd be great to see you and other Etcs again.

Hope the twins are still in place. I'm leaving C in a cot until her teens I think....
