  • Useful Christmas presents ;o)

Yes I know it's early but I want to get prepared.  These year I seriously want to cut down on the number of toys the children get and just get them one big toy present and then everything else has to be useful or easy to store.  So I can get things like cheap DVDs, Wii games etc but I need a few more bulkier things for their sacks.

So far I can think of clothes, slippers, stationery, washing stuff (bubble bath for each child etc) but then I get stuck.  I have a girl aged 10, boy aged 7 and a girl aged 2 to buy for.

    Thanks

Chunky Bathrobes? Diary for your older girl? Hair clips and bands again for your older girl?

    I'm now stumped! x

hmm for the 10 year old I would go with hair stuff, gloves, bangles (do they wear them at that age now - I remember my friends having them) socks, bubble bath, nice soap, bath bombs, pretty notepad, pretty pens/pencils

boy - gosh, no ideas I'm afraid. can remember being a 10 year old girl (just about) and have girls but no ideas with boys

2 year old - will be doing this one myself. I am making her fleecy hat with integral scarf and mittens, little books (the little library ones like ITNG etc) and that is about as far as I have got.  crayons maybe and small pad.  generally though I am thinking about half avoiding stockings and actually just putting all their presents in the stocking under the tree. bit of a cop out I know but they get given SO much that I really don't want to get into havign to buy lots of extra stuff on top of it. we could get away with that though as the 2 year old is our eldest so they don't know any different
