  • Trousers for a tall skinny 3 year old!

Can anyone help me, I'm after some trousers or jeans for Chloe who is a very tall, very skinny 3 year old! Somewhere I could buy online would probably be best because our shops are rather limited. I got her some combats with adjustable waist from Tesco in 3-4 years, they fit great on the length but need tightening too much so don't sit right on her waist.

It's so much easier in the warmer weather when she can wear shorts/cropped trousers/leggings Laugh

I have the same problem with my LO I get her adjustable waists in next/peacocks anywhere that I can get them from sometimes I tie elastic to the inside of the waistband, and long tops to hide the baggy bum or its dresses/skirts with tights

We have a tall skinng almost 3 year old.  I love Vertbaudet trousers, Jack's jeans have always come from there and have been good quality.  GAP trousers are ok too, but a bit more prone to the not sitting on the waist properly due to being tightened so much.  Vertbaudet definitely get my vote.

Eve is tall and skinny as well.  I get her's from H&M - great jeans!

Elijah is also tall and skinny; his trousers are all from H&M and Tesco. Have just bought him a couple of new pairs from Next as they've started doing adjustable waists too.

Had this problem with G for ages (she is 5 now). I'd second H&M for jeans and they do some cute cords with heart knee patches.

G has lots of cropped trousers though and in the winter wears them with tights and boots and they look very cute.

Thanks everyone. Have had a look at Vertbaudet and they have some nice ones so think I'll give them a try. Also noticed that Next have some jeans in the 3 years+ section that come in a slim fit which sounds promising too.

Skirts or shorts with tights is another good one, but she's probably better off wearing trousers for nursery so she has less faff when going to the toilet. She can get away with 18-24 months in skirts, she so doesn't take after me Laugh

    Do H&M sell online?

I was going to suggest H&M, Peacocks  and Next (my sister swears by these for her super skinny daughter) but don't think H&M do uk online
