Archie has chicken pox.  It is 10 days until our holiday by which time he will most likely be fine (first spots appeared on Monday).  But Imogen is a different matter.  I'm so anxious that we are going to have to cancel our holiday as she is going to come out in spots over the next week or so.

Those of you with 2 or more, if one caught CP can you let me know if the others caught it too and how long it was between number one and number 2 child getting them.

    Thanks

Hi again Suzi_Q - Archie is a much spottier boy today but still 100% full of beans.  2 weeks, eh - what is the betting now that Immy gets it on holiday and we'll be banned from flights until it's cleared up LaughBawl  We have another holiday booked in October so it is bound to get us on one of them.

It was 2 weeks between Toby's first spot and Harriet's first.  Sorry. It can be anything up to 3 weeks though.  Have you thought about what  you would do if she came out in spots while you were there...presumably the airline may not let you fly.  I'd talk to your travel insurance company if i were you.

hi there it was also 2 weeks here from when dominic got them to when georgina came out in spots. Fingers crossed she doesnt get them

Thanks all.  Looks like we could well be in for a spotty holiday Sad  I've read a medical site that says generally the sibling will get the spots 14-16 days afterwards.  Being stranded in Portugal with a sickly newborn and no accomodation doesn't sound like my idea of a relaxing time.  Bugger.

Our son had it during the easter holidays. I thought he was bad with it. My daughter got out of bed 12 days later and was plastered. Couldn't put a pin in between them. Sad Awful thing to have.
