beautiful wedding dress shop in wimbledon

just come back from a little night out in wimbledon and walked past this beautiful  shop .........it had the most georgus dresses in it...... I have seen some lovely dresses in my time, but these looked very different .  my friends and i were oohing and ahhing ( and we are all old marrieds) 

 I'm not sure what its called but its on the same side as Office Shoes in the high street bit past the station going towards the theatre.

It is lovely isn't it, I have a good old beak whenever I go past it.... which can't be that pleasant for the B2Bs when they're trying on their dresses (in fairness I'd hate the passing Wimbledon shoppers looking at me trying on dresses!)

Think they've got that beautiful David Fielden dress in the window at the mo, the one with the bow that Shoegal was looking at.... very nice!

Yup, that was hte ridiculously expensive dress i was lusting over not so long ago! :(

The shop does look gorgeous BUT the women in there are horrible and all the dresses are grubby (the David Fielden one had a massive rip in it and was really dirty)

The women in there were really untrustworthy and wouldnt let me and my mum carry our bags upstairs (as if we are going to be able to nick a huge wedding dress and stash it in our tiny bags)

I know the shop you mean - i thought they were really rude + snotty too. There is also a teokath in clapham junction and apparently that's good.

I can recommend Luella's Boudoir in Wimbledon village for shoes + accessories (and they do dresses too I think) Really friendly + helpful, but a little ££. I bought my £140 shoes there.

And wimbledon village is sooooooo nice - much nicer than the main bit of wimbledon

they were very snotty and the assistant that was helping me, kept looking at me ever time i touched something like i was going to run off with it and the cheeky mare was wearing a bloody primark dress

Wimbledon Village is LOVELY, there is a brilliant bar/pub there that gets pretty busy at the weekends, cant remember the name of it though

While we're at it I need to name check All that Glitters in Wimbledon, the manager is lovely... it's not a glitzy pretentious shop, just a great bridal shop with loads of dresses!  Going back for my final fitting on 22nd!

Luella's Boudior is fab too, so many items that I could have easily purchased!

I went to All that Glitters in Wimbledon and the ladies there were lovely

And the changing rooms were brilliant, nice big cubicals, nice big mirrors and really good lighting!

That shop has my back up dress if i dont find anything else

I actually work in Wimbledon and always walk past this shop!

 it was about 5.30 and there was a lady letting someone out whilst we were gawping...she did give us a few dirty looks!

we looked  in again much  later when we walked back that way and my friend said that the one with the bow would be  her dream dress if she ever got married again!
