Yes, that's right, community. I've been on hitched for over 6 years and I'm here for the community. I'll post where the en masse community posts as I'm not attached to a website. That's like all your furniture and family moving to a new house but you want to stay back in the empty house because you are attached to it. Your home is where everything you know and love is, not the shell. You are welcome to the empty shell IMO, feel free to talk to yourself.

I'm actually quite offended.

Oh dear.  I wasn't going to join 'new hitched'.  Was thinking I'd give up if this place got too slow asd I kind of thought of belonging to hitched as being similar to supporting a football team.  You don't change your team after a few bad results (you all know I'm QPR).  However, if there's going to be some sort of inter forum fighting I'm going to have to side with the 'dead wood'.  The original post on this thread is embarrassing.

I think I'm quite happy to leave Kat to talk to herself on a forum that takes years to get a post to work and years to get a thread to load. She might get some sense out of herself, but I doubt it.

Pithy. I do admire your ability to cut straight to the nub of a topic.

Before I found hitched, I never ever thought I'd post on a message board/forum. But, when I discovered this place, I was bowled over by how much of a community there was here. Yes, there was a bit of ribbing of stoopids and bad grammar/spelling but that just made it a better place for me. And it was fast. 

Over the years, hitched has given me, and so many other people, support in times of crisis, be it over their family, marriage, job or money, as well as just general help - when you think about something you don't know about, someone on here is bound to know the answer. 

Recently, it's not been able to work quite as well because it has been so slow, and I think that people were always going to leave and go elsewhere. The "dead wood" were the people who made this place for me, so I'm glad they're still around in the new place. :)

I just want to say that Katrowley does not represent the general consensus on hitched!

I love the new forum, it's fast paced, funny and entertaining but i also like it here. I go to satin lovers for OT but stay here for BT! As far as i'm concerened there is no "us" and "them" situation!

In my opinion Katrowley is just poo stirring! Ignore her, and please don't hate us!!!

It's just taken me 30 mins to post something so I am darn well gonna!

I was more of a lurker....but I went to the other side (is this like Star Trek or summink) because of the speeds and the people. I have had support from the people on here, and yes sometimes my opinion has differed from others BUT this dead wood comment has made me crosser than a cross thing to be fair.

I think it is a shame that you have to put a post on sticking two fingers up to people just because they have found a place where they can still talk and have fun, especially since those people have given alot of support to alot of people.
