Through a friend I got Paul Weller to sign a picture  "To Stewart, Congratulations on your wedding day, Paul Weller"  and framed it.

I was twee-er than a twee thing. I gave him a mini notebook and on every page was a reason why I loved him.

We weren't doing presents then i found out a couple of days before the wedding that H had got me a gift via my mum and so i didn't feel awful i went and got him a watch.  we were both skint so it was just a nice looking but relatively cheap watch from argos.

I love those, but at £90 for a posh pair of pliers might be pushing my budget a bit...I was thinking more like £30!

    Thanks though.

I didn't get my H a present as such but I got him a wedding card and had it signed by all the players in his favourite football team.  He loved it!

I got him cuff links but he knew about those, so I just bought him some silly socks to put with the cuff links and a card, they had the date of the wedding, his name and "in case you get cold feet" on the instep, he though they were funny and wore them on the day

I knew that my H would have had a bit of a late one the night before our wedding as the best men are big drinkers, so I did him a 'wedding day survival kit' in a nice box. It had everything from headache pills to handcream and emergency cuffinks, tissues etc. Then right at the bottom I'd wrapped up his watch and he opened that last. I know the watch doesn't help but maybe the rest might! Z

I bought my H these cufflinks:

    http://www.1stchoicecufflinks.com/ecommerce/Scripts/prodView2~idproduct~5025~Sterling~Silver~Square~Locket~Cufflinks.htm

I put tiny photos of both of us in them & in one half, I put 'See you at 2pm'

    Bit cheesy!

He got me a bunch of flowers. But as we went on honeymoon 2 days later, they were never fully appreciated!!!

Bugger all! Laugh IMO I don't think you should get each other gifts for your wedding day, I just feel its more unnecessary expense.

However, get the toolbelt if you know that's what he'd like.
