I remember you posting about this before; your poor friend. What a tragic situation to be in. Cry

I think on the card front, I'd have 2 ready. One as you mention, a blank card for your own message - the starry night scene sounds lovely, for if he dies at birth or survives only a short time. I'd have a second card though, a normal congratulations on the birth of your baby card, in case he does survive beyond what the prognosis suggests. With the starry night card ready for if and when he does pass away.

Such a sad situation. I'll be thinking of them (and you) today; and will pray for them and their baby.

That's come round so quickly,  I do hope they get more than a few minutes, prayers heading to them this morning x

Oh gosh Cat, your poor friend. I've not been on here properly for such a long time, life is manic with the littlies, but I will be thinking of your brave friend and her dear little boy today and sending all the strong vibes I can muster.

I think the card sounds a lovely idea. I'm sure your friend would want her little boy's birth and existence, however short, acknowledged and the starry night sounds beautiful.

hope you are doing ok xx

Your poor friend, will be thinking of her today and I really hope she gets to spend some time with her baby and create some memories, however brief that time may be. Sending heaps of vibes her way, I really hope a miracle will happen for her and her baby xx

I remember you posting about your friend. So sorry for her. My thoughts are with her today. Sending her some positive vibes too.

As for the card - really don't know. Not sure if the starry night is appropriate if he survives. Maybe something a little bit cheerier but would definitely go for a blank one then you can say what you want.

Will be keeping them in my thoughts today Hug

With regards to the card, I think your idea of a blank one sounds lovely but I'd maybe go for a brighter picture to congratulate his birth - like a sunrise or set perhaps.  I think the starry night one is more appropriate for a passing alone  than a congratulations combined card.

Sorry to hear this and hoping for some kind of miracle for your friend.

A blank card seems most approriate, there's not really anything "Generic" that fits this sad situation is there?
