anyone had Bell's Palsy... twice!

I had this last year and for a few days leading up to it I had horrible pain in my jaw then my face was twitching for a couple of days before it actually went. I've read that those who've had it before are more likely to get it again. I'm having a similar pain in my jaw and I don't know whether to do anything (what? See DR?) or just wait and see if it happens again.

Did you have the same symptoms twice or was it different?

I know this is a long shot as it's fortunatley quite rare.

only had it once thank God (touch wood) so can't help with your question, but just wanted to send my sympathy to you as I remember how much it sucked.  fingers crossed for you that it doesn't happen again x.

My boss said I should call the Dr, and he said he wants to see me so we'll see what happens later today.

My friend had it twice. I'm asking her as I type.

I know she had acupunture when it started the second time and it went away quite quickly. Needles for the first appointment and laser thereafter as she doesn't like needles. She had shock therapy the first time which wasn't as effective.

She says she recognised it earlier and it came on quicker so it was the same symptoms.

<y mum has had it 3 times, each time she had the same symptoms.
