  • ideas for a wish bowl....

I love this idea (as per pic below) instead of the usual guest book, gests make a wish for the couple on  small card and place it in one bowl, then they take a wish from the couple from the other jar.

(please ignore the colours as its not in my colour scheme)

Any Ides for the 'take a wish' bowl? I will need loads and they have to be pretty generic as you don't know who's taking what, was thinking other than the obvious 'good health, happiness, etc maybe there are more clever ones someone can suggest? maybe more wedding related? or do you think quotes would be better?

    any suggestions welcome!

hey tango, lovely idea, bit too complex for me to think about so early.

do you want to  do fun wishes or something a bit more generic?... going to put my thinking cap on but i cant guarantee it will work im not great at creativity x

haha thanks cotteesgirl, I know its early! I think I have things going through my brain at night and then they all come out at once in the morning....

I think more fun, light hearted things - we will have a lot of young people at the wedding so I didn't want to make it boring...

Wow that's dedication! I would just fill the other jar with fortune cookies, saves a lot of time.

So did you want quotes and sayings about love and friendship? Not sure what you mean in the way of wishes. Give us an example.

hummm not sure Ruth, gonna do some googling research and see what fits.

I guess if your saying 'take a wish' it has to be a wish rather than a quote (ie - good health, happiness etc) but that sounds a bit boring... need to think about it more.

I thought it would be better to have funny quotes about love / friendship, but then its not a wish bowl any more, unless I just say 'please take one' on the bowl and that would lose the point. hence my confusion!
