LO had some friends over to play yesterday.  One of them had a baby annabell with some accessories and she loved it.

We bought one for her "present" from the new baby (she'll be almost 3), but now I'm thinking of buying some of the accessories.  I didn't realise they were so expensive!

Has anyone used early baby outfits as opposed to the baby annabell specific ones?  Any recommendations on where to buy accessories?

    Thanks!

my daughter has 2 she is 8 and loves them. i look in 2nd hand shops and car boots for clothes newborn or 0-3 months fits. they last longer as they are made better and you can get much nicer things. we went to a car boot and got her a real meses basket and bouncy chair for £2. which are now in her room....she would have me buying real prams and car seats if she had it her way. annabell is for life you know....it will become her real baby and you'll never hear the end of it Laugh

    good luck lol x

Thanks pf.  With there being quite a few sales around I could maybe pick up some newborn clothes, much cheaper than the branded ones!

Remember that baby annabell needs nappies!  They happen to fit new born baby ones... They're a lot cheaper than buying 'real' doll ones.  Plus you'll have some for the new baby. x  Make sure you have easy clothes for the doll, my niece is 3 and loves dolls, but can't dress them in their clothes so i end up doing it!  Annabell is bigger than baby born so 0-3 clothes are needed, baby born is new born size! (we have too many dolls at our house!) Have you got a little pram?  My niece plays with her cheap stroller a lot more than her stupid priced dolls pram! x
