  • WW online - anyone do it?

I am seriously considering signing up for this when I get paid tomorrow as meetings aren't convenient for me any more with the children and Mr R working evenings.

Anyone do it, and how do you find it?

    Thanks

    Hi Roobarb,

I started WW online in April and I have to say it was great.  I liked that it helped me calculate how much I could eat in a day and planning ahead helped me not to snack as I knew what I was going to have for lunch etc.   I've lost 21lb so far (although have fallen off the wagon a bit this week due to sleep deprivation!).  I haven't gone to meetings in the past (living in the back of beyond Highlands of Scotland!) but the online version is working for me.

Good luck whatever you decide x

I've been doing it for around 3 months now and have lost around 15lbs but I've started to ramp up the exercise in the last few weeks and am losing more. I've found it tough to stick to, I'm always going over by a point or two but it's made me more aware of what I'm eating - especially when I'm just snacking on the odd biscuit!

i lost my weight online 4.5 stone (i was 1st person to become a leader who hadnt gone to class) i loved it, loved having the info to hand, the forums etc BUT you need a good support network as well, i had my mates, my husband and this place- without those i would never have done it.

    Thanks all

I'm going to go for it.  I had wondered about the support network thing and lack of meetings but tbh I never found the meetings a great support to someone like me who has a lot of weight to lose (6 stone to get to healthy BMI Sad) as they were full of women who had about a stone to lose and were on 18 points a day saying "ooh I can't eat all my points I can only manage about 14 points and then I get full up" when I was on 20-odd points and chewing the carpet through hunger lol.

    Hi,

I just wanted to add that I used WW on line and it was fab!  I didn't fancy the meetings, not sure why - thought I would try on line and see how I got on.  I managed to lose 24lbs in about 4 months so I was really pleased.  I did do a lot of exercise though so that really helped!

This was the first 'official' diet that I have followed and I have really enjoyed WW.  I have a whole new outlook on food now!

    Good Luck!

I am doing WW online too, and finding it great, it has really helped me get my head round eating healthily and how easy it is to eat far too much! I struggle to eat my points as I am breastfeeding so currently on 29 pts but I have lost consistently since I started. Have been on it 7 weeks and so far lost 12lbs, am hoping to hit my first stone at my next weigh in. I love being able to add recipes into my tracker too so I can add in things we eat regularly and point them so we are still all eating together as a family most of the time but I know it fits in with my points.
