It's a long time since I camped as a child and am now embarking on taking my three camping. We're off for our first trip to the New Forest in August and as my girls have outgrown their ready beds I'm intending on 'investing' in some sleeping bags for them - they're 5 & nearly 4. I've been looking online but really wouldn't know one make from another anymore... Is Gelert a good make or can anyone recommend anything else. I have a Coleman that I bought nearly 10 years ago that will do me!
Thanks. Steph
im not sure about makes but we got ours from millets and we go every year and have just come back from glasto with one.
My pals have Vango ones for their kids....
Outdoor Megastore - Discount Camping, Tents, Skiwear, Waterproof Clothing, Outdoor Jackets, Walking, Hiking, Caravan, Cycle Accessories and Outdoor Gear
this is a great place to get em or other ones if there are better deals on there.

We have Vango ones, I'd say to go up a season more than you're intending to use them though.
Outwell do some gorgeous Kids patterned ones.
The equipment forum on ukcampsite.co.uk is really good for advice too.
I use Nanok these days.
Bit awkward buying quality bags for that age unless you're prepared for them to be used for one/two years only.
Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.....
We have Vango Convertible ones for our boys (6 and 4) - they've been in them the last two summers (we tied the bottom off for the younger one when he was 2), and we've not had to use the zip on section yet, so I would hope we've got at least 2 or 3 more years in them (for my eldest anyway).
Thank you for all those suggestions am off to look at the websites now.
