RJ - have a lovely time in Dorset.  Hope it stays sunny for you.  It's still very clammy here but dull and raining.

PP - hope you aren't too knackered to have a lovely weekend too.

    me - nothing new.

    Hug to everyone.

    Hi RaspJ and PP

RaspJ - have fab hols!  Hope weather is good for youHug

PP - I'm not surprised you are knackered - this muggy weather is draining!

I'm stimming and just about used to the added injections now.  I must confess that half my brain is telling me to have a cleaning blitz on the house this weekend, as I think I might not want to clean at all on 2ww, but other half of my brain can't get up the enthusiasm to clean at any timeLaugh  Any tips from those who have been through an IVF course?

  • Re: Friday DTC

PR, I cleaned constantly, and obsessively throughout IVF, at all hours and reached a cresendo during the 2ww. If anything got out of place, I lost the plot. I packed my little bag every day for clinic aps and it had to be packed in exactly the same way. If my favorite seat in my favorite coffee shop was taken, I was ready to cry. And on Official Test Day there was a big sweaty woman, sitting in MY seat, shovelling cake in her gob, and making a snuffly  "nummm nummm" noise as she did it. My patience was tested to the limit and it was all I could do, not to throw her cake on the floor and scream "shut the feck up!" But I didn't. I gave her evils for an hour instead.

rj - that sounds lovely.  Hope the weather's good for you.  The knackered-ness is a mix of working full time, having to do 4 cakes this week, Matt waking me up early recently, being poorly and being out very late last night.  I can't even begin to think of it as a symptom as I know that only having 9 hours sleep since Tuesday will be the real cause Laugh

July - thanks, we've got a nice day out planned tomorrow so I'll drink lots of Red Bull and then crash on Sunday Laugh

PR - muggy weather?  I think that's disappeared.  We've just had an incredibly heavy downpour.  Really not great as I'm wearing flip-flops and I have to walk across a courtyard to get to anywhere else in the building!  Leave the cleaning and then when the 2ww comes explain to your H that you can't possibly do it so he'll have to!

    Morning

    Happy Friday one and all

RJ - have a fab time, that sounds like a great break x

    July - Wave

PR - hope the injections are still going ok? x

PP - hope you stop feeling tired soon x

Holly- I hope the cleaning then wore off and you aren't still at it - you'll have the sparkliest house in the world!!

Me - still trying to avoid symptom spotting, I still feel sick, headache blah blah but now reckon that it's a bug Tongue Tied rather than a hint of BFP... ah well now just waiting for AF again.

Have a fab day everyone xx

RJ had a brilliant time and i hope the weather is nice for you!

PP what have you been up too then?

    Wave July

PR i'm glad you're used to them now. Funny you should say that about the cleaning. I have been going on a mad one because i don't want to be doing it after the ET so i think if i do it now then it's less for me to do then. I have so much crap everywhere!

As for me, i had my blood tests back today for the Viral screening etc and everything is fine so i am over the moon. You sort of know there's nothing wrong but until they confirm that then i would always worry. Off to give blood tonight too before i start down regging. Dragging SIL and H along with me too Laugh. Got to do our bit!!

ETA because i missed Loop. Keep your hopes up Loopy Kiss

Loop - where in your cycle are you?

Spring - it's just a combination of things.  Work, lots of cakes, work do last night, being poorly, Matt waking up early this week, only having 9 hours sleep since Tuesday.....I'm not really sure what my body's running on at the minute.  I'm at work today, got a cake to do (completely) tonight, out early tomorrow and won't be back until late.  I think when I get in to bed tomorrow night I might quite literally sleep for a week.  Glad your bloods came back ok.

Hi PP  - I think I'm at about CD32 which would make me 12DPO although FF moved my OV date 3 times this cycle which has confused me..  FF recommends I test on Sunday so I spose I'll see what's happening there or will try to find out from the ACU clinic what I'm supposed to do next if AF arrives (yet again). I've only had one script for tamoxifen and they haven't called me back yet (I'm waiting on some blood test results) so I dunno.  I think (depending on the blood test results) that I'd be given 3 more months on tamoxifen and then it's IVF (or maybe IUI)..

Have you got a more relaxing w/e planned? Sounds like you need some sleep and then to do some fun stuff either on your own or with your family ? xx

Spring - how are you doing today?

  • Re: Friday DTC

Loop - that all sounds very complicated.  I really hope that AF doesn't arrive and you don't need anything else Babydust.  I'm stupidly busy tonight and tomorrow (although I'm really looking forward to tomorrow) but plan on doing bugger all on Sunday.

  • Re: Friday DTC

    Morning,

ohhhhh RJ enjoy your holidays Babydust back at you!

PR, I think I did a big clean before EC and then nothing at all for a weeks after. I find cleaning stresses me out so I avoided it totally on the 2ww. H was struggling though as I don't think he realised how much there is to do to keep the house ticking over even Laugh

Hollybags Laugh at the big, sweaty, cake eating woman. I might pick your brains at some point soon if you don't mind? After a couple of failed cycles, we've started thinking about further testing and I'm clueless about the types of tests we could do, when to get them done and how much they cost.

PP - wow you are making me exhausted just reading all the things you've had on this week. Hope you can chill out at the weekend.

Spring - I know what you mean about those tests. You 99.9% know that they'll come back ok but it's still a wee bit stressful while you are waiting on them.

Ohhhhh Loop I'll have my fingers crossed for a BFP announcement from you next week Babydust

Wave July and all the other lovely DTCers.

  • Re: Friday DTC

    Hi all,

Hollybags - PMSL at your cleaning tale, but you have now sent my 1/2 brain into overdrive and I also feel I MUST clean this weekendLaugh.  Mr PR is not going to understand what has come over meLaugh

Hi Spring - glad your tests came back OK - it is that double reassurance that's just nice, isn't it?  Well done with you blood donation.

Hi Loop - thanks for asking about the injections - they're fine, in fact today was only the second time since starting DR that I have had a little tiny bruise.  Plenty of fat to soak up all the drugLaugh.  Hope you find out what is to happen next for you soonHug

Special Hi to CJJ - hoipe you are OK, have you had the duster outWink

And I couldn't not send a big Kiss to cycle buddies WF and Widdle - hope you are both more comfortable after difficult starts to AF

  • Re: Friday DTC

    Thanks PR

I'm good thanks Loop. It's still so hot in the office that i'll be glad to go home though x
