HRML - Do I go out or stay in?

OH is out tonight on a lads night but it transpires that girlfriends are now invited.  So, do I get my glad rags on and go out or stay in and watch a good film?

I  really enjoy the getting ready part ie doing hair and makeup

Got hayfever which is making me feel like $hit

Feel like a complete heffer (sp) after getting some photos back, totally didn't realise I looked that fat.

I'm at work in the morning at 8am

I say go out and have a good time.  You're not as fat as you think you are; the company will lift your mood and you will regret it if you don't go!

I too have to force myself on nights out, but really enjoy myself once there...have fun if you do go x

Thanks RubyBlue!  I think on reflection I will stay in and yes as you say probably regret it.   I don't think Mr HB is bothered about me going out tbh, he's made no attempts to cajole or encourage so I'll just leave it.

I have to confess that I used to be really bad about going out with H and his friends. Have tried to make more on an effort recently when I was embarassed to hear that his best friends girlfriend accompanies them most weeks to pool and she is now 9 months pregnant!!

I know what its like though when your H is not that bothered whether you go and in your case I think you made the right decision. I am waiting for H to decided whether he is going out tonight and whether he is plannimg to drag me along. I have a trialathon at 7am tomorrow so am definiltly not drinking if I do go! Have a nice in, relax and try & be sympathetic to his hangover tomorrow!
