  • **Wednesday 2nd Trimester**

    Morning everyone!

    Surprise I am here early!

Not much to report though I'm afraid. feeling quite a bit of wriggling now which is reassuring. Looking forward to my next scan at 28 weeks to make sure she is growing properly, only 7 weeks to go LOL.

When do we go to the 3rd Tri?

Am off to the Huggies day thing in London today but need to get my house looking somewhat decent as my buyer wants to look around again aaaggghhhh we have boxes everywhere, half packed, piled of clothes that are being sorted, toys all over  etc etc etc have managed to put her off till 4.30 but an added stress I could do without LOL

Hope everyone has a lovely day today and no one is suffering

    Morning .

What goes on at the Huggies day ? I've 3 weeks to wait until my scan and it feels like ages off.

I'm off today with the intention of doing something with my son but the weather is crap.  Also need to chase up my insurance loss cheque from the third parties insurance but they keep fobbing me off , this blooming bump happenned in January , i think enough is enough , also should get new car today , well new to me , certainly not new.

Hope everyone has a lovely day.

    18+2.

  • Re: **Wednesday 2nd Trimester**

Duck - I hope you manage to sort things out with your insurance company they do like to drag their heels don't they. A new car should be exciting any idea what you are getting? I have never bought a brand new car, I don't see the point really

I think the huggies thing just has fun things to do like painting, cooking, playdoh, messy stuff I think it is to promote their new wipes

  • Re: **Wednesday 2nd Trimester**

    Morning all,

CP - we go to third tri at 27 weeks I think. Enjoy your day today.

Duck - hope you find something nice to do despite the weather. Are you off for the rest of the week, it looks like it might get nicer from tomorrow. (though that's obviously no help to you if you're not)

[sens] Heard a bit of bad news yesterday, one of the guys at work and his wife lost their baby over the weekend, she was 6 months pregnant. It really brings it home that it's not all plain sailing after 12 weeks. At least the Bug was moving a lot yesterday as if to say "it's OK, I'm still here!" [sens]

On a happier note Maximo Park were brilliant last night, I did feel slightly out of place among all the identically-dressed indie kid types (though fortunately there were a few that were older than me and H and some who had obviously come straight from work) but the music was good anyway!

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Hi ladies,

CP- What's Huggies day? Don't worry about your boxes I'm sure your buyers won't mind.

Duck-  The weather is rubbish here too... Maybe you could go somewhere indoors instead?

I haven't been here for ages. I've been spending all my free time on Raverly and knitting.... I'm officially middle  aged and loving it!Laugh

Nothing much to report from me. I feel the babies on a pretty regular basis now although not as much as I did with D at this stage which is strange considering that there's 2!

I'm so tired this week it's unbelievable so am trying to take it easy although that is sometimes not possible with my baby, my job and my business.

I have 1 of my fortnightly scans tomorrow so am looking forward to 'seeing' my  twinnies.

    Hope you're all well.

    J. 20+3

    Crossed posts MQ.

I heard some similar news yesterday, it  really is so unfair and so, so sad.

Glad you enjoyed the music last night even if  you did feel like an oldie... It happens to the best of us!Laugh

  • Re: **Wednesday 2nd Trimester**

I'm early enough to get onto the first page - hurrah!

The bad news is that I'm teaching this morning and it's raining and I've about a mile to walk through the rain for my class.

I got back from Champneys last night after my long weekend there. Had a great time. Couldn't face the gym (not a gym person anyway) but did aqua fit every day plus another swim, and went walking when it wasn't raining. Not sure when I can go again with LO on the way but if I can squeeze in a day in August or Sept I will.

Citrus - have a good time in London

Duck - sounds like you have a busy day ahead. Have fun.

MQ - oh no, sorry to hear about your work colleague

Pretty - good luck for your scan tomorrow

Citrus - have a great time in London, Huggies day sounds ace.  Loadsa buy your house vibes as well

Duck - hope that you manage to get the car sorted, it must be annoying

MQ - god, that is awful, I hate hearing about stuff like that, poor them.  Glad that the concert was good and that bug is moving loads

Pretty - yay for your scan, are you going to find out what they are?

LBP - Glad that you had fun, I was thinking about doing something like that sometime, do you recommend it?

Not a lot to report from me, heard the heartbeat yesterday, have not been sick since last Thursday, so hoping that is passing.  Just waiting for my scan on the 16th June, we get them at 19 weeks and hope that I don't hear back from the doctors in the next week, that would been that I am high risk of downs.

Are you all finding out the sex?  MrK wants too, I am not sure though.

    16+1 xx

    Morning!

I was up a little earlier than I would have liked this morning - J has taken to waking shortly after 5.30am instead of nearer 6.30am!  It's H's turn on nightduty tonight and I am looking forward to sleeping in the spare room and sleeping through!

I've got a few spots that have appeared overnight - not nice.  Yes, I am still tired, but sadly apart from early nights and splitting the night shifts with H there is not much I can do about that.  I still have a strong gag reflex - really thought I was going to be sick when changing J's really bad dirty nappy this morning - poor boy didn't quite know what was goind on with me dry-retching between wipes!  I have my MW appointment this afternoon and then if it isn't raining am planning to go get J weighed as he hasn't been in ages and I'm curious as to what the monster weighs now!

LittleBoBeeo - champneys sounds lovely.  I've never been to a spa and would love to.

pretty in pink - I knit, try to sew and make jewellery and cards - devil makes work for idle hands!  Don't much time for my crafting, but enjoy it when I do.,  What projects are you working on?

MQ - Life is so unfair - I am so sorry for your work collague and wife.  Glad you enjoyed the concert.

DUck - enjoy car shopping.  I am hoping to get a new (new to me) car in September.

CP- Glad you are feeling baby move - it's so reassuring.  I think I've felt a few gentle movements, but not certain - could be wind!

    Have a lovely day ladies,

    Hi Kellfi,

Hope your sickness is passing.  We are hoping to find out the sex this time.  We didn't with J and it was lovely having the surprise.  H wanted to know with J and this time I'd like some advance notice so I can prepare - mainly work out whether J's entire wardrobe can be reused or whether I have to sift out the bits that suitable for a girl.  With a 15mth age gap I'll need all the advance preparation I can get!  Glad you heard the heartbeat yesterday - hoping I'll get to hear it today, should do as they found it at my mw appoint when I was 12 weeks.

    Morning all,

Hope you have a good day Citrus Pink sounds like it should be fun!

Hope the weather doesn't stay bad all day Duck no More, when you wrote about the bump happening in Jan I thought you meant the babyLaugh and I was thinking, what sort of insurance company......

MightyQuin that just terrifies me, I am so very sorry for your colleague and his wife.  On a lighter note, glad you enjoyed the gig last night.

PrettyinPink hope you can take it easy today.

LittleBoPeep boo hiss to teaching today, when is your half term?  Glad you had a good weekend.

Kelfi glad you aren't feeling too sick any more.  the heart beat is so lovely, I can't wait to hear this one.  Not sure if we are going to find the sex yet.  We already have a little boy an I am pretty convinced that this one is a boy too (all the men in H's family produce boys), so maybe we do need to find the sex as if it is a little girl then I may be a bit surprised!

Morning Wren its rubbish when they wake so early, I feel your pain!  there is something special about those 'solids' nappies isn't there!  I really should get R weighed, I have't had him done since oct Embarrassed

I am fine, just very tired and very hungry!  The weather is rubbish here too but we are going round to a fellow hitchers house for lunch which I am looking forward to.  I am having the most vivid dreams, I woke up crying several times last night, the irst time because someone was making me swim with dolphins (I am absolutely terrified of the sea, despite being a swimming coach and really good at swimming!), then I thought there were cybermen in the village and the last time was when a colleague from work was making me sit an English GCSE (I teach science and am not very good with words!!).  Thank godness it wasn't my usual nightmare about zombies, that would have finished me off!  It's official I am a crazy lady!

Hope everyone has a good day

Citrus Pink Wave the wriggling is wonderful, isn't it

Duck no more Wave am sure the 3 weeks until your scan will rush past

Mighty Quinn Wave your bug moving is a great sign that s/he's happy in there

Pretty in Pink Wave take care of yourself and try and get some rest - being tired is your body's way of saying that you're doing too much (and growing a baby too !)

LittleBoPeep Wave Champneys sounds divine ... not jealous at all, no not me Laugh

Kellfi Wave hope that the sickness has moved on - I'm finding mine is more or less gone now which is lovely.  Its great hearing the heartbeat, isn't it

Wren Wave have a good appointment with your MW today

Wave Hopefully haven't missed anyone ... was supposed to have my anomoly scan last night but its been delayed for a week - not long to wait but not being the most patient and I really want to know Thing2 is ok (and what the sex is !).  Am tired, work is a nightmare but I can feel Thing2 moving which is just divine (anyone else notice that their bump seems to move from side to side and they can feel it change shape ?)

  • Re: **Wednesday 2nd Trimester**

Hi White Rabbit, I missed you!  Why was your scan delayed?  That is very annoying.  I definitely noticed my bump changing shape last time.  Sorry work is so rubbish.

    Morning all Wave

Just a quick one to say Hi as I'm back from my weekend in France! Had a lovely time at my Mum's with loads of family and friends there too. The journeys there and back were stupidly epic (I drove 625 miles yesterday!!) and I'm totally shattered today but at work - hmph!

Hope everyone is well and I'll try to get on to do personals tomorrow.
    Take care all.

  • Re: **Wednesday 2nd Trimester**

Scan was delayed because the consultant had to do an emergency op - quite a good excuse really !  I'm just really not terribly patient and I really did want to know everything was ok (have a niggling worry because of the anti-sickness meds I had to take)
