Socks for narrow feet?

  • Socks for narrow feet?

The girlchild has very narrow feet and I'm struggling to find socks that aren't baggy and prone to falling off. She's 15 weeks now and her feet are too long for newborn socks but the next size up are far too wide. Someone recommended babygap socks, but the 0-6 month ones are huge on her - about the right length but I could almost fit both feet into each sock! Any other suggestions?

Recommend Trumpette socks, E is still in the baby ones so C should be ok too. I found a set for £12 somewhere the other day, which is the cheapest new I've seen but they wash lovely so 2nd hand would be ok I think. Seeing as they're not walking at this stage they don't get worn out.

Perhaps you haven't got the 'right' Gap socks. If I go up in the loft I'll search out B's old ones.

Cheers! The sainsburgs socks that fitted so beautifully in newborn size are too big in the next size up and she keeps shedding them round the house. The gap socks I bought are lovely and colourful but need a few more months before they'll fit!

I suspect it's going to be interesting when it comes to shoe-buying time if her feet are still the same shape Laugh

    Hi there,

I was in Mothercare today and I saw these at the till   http://www.mothercare.com/Sock-Ons-Girls/dp/B001QV9J2M/sr=1-4/qid=1243267284/ref=sr_1_4/275-3183909-3364541?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42764041&mcb=core

Now I haven't used them as my LO is 2 now, but the lady on the till said she's had a number of people say they are brilliant. They go on over socks to help keep them on.

They might be worth keeping in mind, and if I have another, I'll certainly be trying them
