From Elgin originally although living in Cheshire now (where OH is from).  we are getting married just outside Elgin so we can still have some of the traditonal scottish bits and pieces.  Think OH's family are in for a shock, they are more reserved than my family!  Only 4 weeks to go now the time flies so quick.

oh fab! what scottish elements are you having?  your in-laws better brace themselves, you know as well as many other scottish brides on here - we scottish love to good auld (lol) get together!

4 weeks to go.  are you nervous at all? next aug seems so far away to me just now but as you say,time will fly in!

Oh sarah & lynsey - I will have those shoes.  it has become my mission in life as i to have an addiction to all things sparkly.  there is always room in my life for a new pair of shoes

we have had some mad folk on here the last week so think you are safe (think they go back to school tomorrow tho lol).

well we are having the kilts, piper, scottish toasts, auld lang syne plus 80 scottish people.  Some I struggle to understand at times especially after a dram or two!

My BM gets married next august too and I have sent her a list of things she needs to do now.  she was shocked bless. 

Getting a wee bit nervous now not about the actual marriage bit can't wait for that more that everything comes together on the day.

Sarah when I was looking for glasses today my specification was sparkly or pink! I think the woman thought I was made however she did come up with the sparkly goods although I won't pay the money for them....when shoes can be bought!

I looked in every shoe shop today for flat sparkles and none matched my standards!

to all the girlies who found it difficult to read my posts as i was using caps - im sorry!  it is just a habit i have gotten myself into.

Haven't had a trip into town yet but will definately check the shop I bought mine from next time I do as it was awash with glitter!!

bonnie dundee??!!  LOLOL Only thing bonny about it is the road out!! hahaha - I've just sold my flat there after habiting the city since 2000.  Miss primark. Thats all I miss :)
