Friday DTCers

Phewweee, nearly the weekend.  No DTC news, waiting for IVF planning appointnent.  Work is pants at the mo, so not around for long, but bags more luck to PB and WF, hope all is good with CJJ, Ball and others part way through treatment and hi and hugs to the rest (Yes MlurkerG, you can have a hug too).  Special big hugs to Hopscotch cos you need them

PB, WF hope you are both still feeling positive!

CJJ- hope the stimming is still going well.

As for me- yesterdays scan to see if I can start IUI did not go well, stupid cyst is still there so they have given me some progesterone tablets to try and get rid of it. (crosses fingers) was just a bit deflated really as I really wanted to get started.

Anyway, have a nice weekend planned of seeing friends and lunch so hopefully will take me mind off it.  Any 'go away cyst' vibes would be much appreciated!

Me - I phoned the hospital to find out how long it would be before I received a letter to start treatment, I got told it would be a year from referral (April 08), OH thought it would be another 10 months.  There is a backlog of typing about 2.5 weeks before my name can get put on the list, so will miss out on the letters being sent out for April/May start.  So it will be around June/July and to expect a letter 3-6 weeks before appointment.

So at least I know when its going to start.  Getting very very nervous.

Sweetness - bloody cysts!  I got one part way through my IVF cycle.  I hope the progesterone zaps it for you. xx

Hi to sweetersong, Mrsblondelj, Loop and everyone else I've missed.

Symptoms continue for me.  Last night I hardly slept a wink due to being as hot as a furnace all night and having sore (.)(.). I've never had sore boobs before, even during AF. Trying not to get my hopes up too much but it's really hard!

I haven’t been on much this week as work has been really busy – which is at least keeping me occupied until my appointment at the start of April.

PR – hope you get your appointment soon, sorry that work is hard at the moment.

Sweetness – sending you loads of luck that the progesterone tablets work for you and you can start IUI soon

July – waiting is the worst, isn’t it? I really hope you get an appointment date soon

WF – thinking of you at the moment and really, really hope that the symptoms are a good sign x

July - Not that long to wait now....it is nervous having all this hanging aroud and waiting, but trust me it will come aroud really quickly.

Right, well I haven't really been around as I haven't got a lot to say   Having seen our consultant on Tuesday, H has got to do his 'test' over the next couple of weeks and then we need to see our consultant again to finalise medication and the next step!  SO lots of chilling out and relaxing for me, which is lovely!

Anyway, have a good weekend ladies and look after yourselves.

Well, I had my trigger shot last night, so 8am Saturday morning I'll be in the clinic for my egg retrieval!  I am excited but also horribly nervous as I have fewer follicles than last time, so if you could send any 'top quality' egg vibes across the Atlantic, it would be most appreciated

July - still a bit of a wait, but I'm glad to hear it's much better than your H feared.

WF - thanks for the hugs, much appreciated  it is unbearable this wait and with symptoms tempting you to raise your hopes!! Urgh! The only thing I can think to say is you've got fewer days to go now than you did yesterday, and even fewer than the day before. Still crossing everything for you!

TB - it's good to be busy isn't it, time passes quicker when you're waiting for something. Not long till your appt now.

MrsBlondeJ - glad things are moving now. Lots of R&R in preparation will be good!

CJJ - woo-hoo you've triggered!! Lots and lots and lots of vibes crossing the atlantic from me. All the best for tomorrow!

As for me. Having AF from hell, does cyclogest make your lining thicker?? Honestly gallons of the stuff (sorry TMI). Anyhooo... with extraodinary timing,  our IVF appointment leetter arrived yesterday andd we have a date of the 6th May. Feeling positive and excited about it. It also means I can enjoy the next couple of months off DTCing, and feel like I'm getting control back of my body after the three back to back IUI cycles.

So if I am on here less frequently, it is because I'm taking some time out from DTCing and I will still be thinking of you all. I won't be going anywhere soon though, it's far too exciting waiting for the outcomes of the current treatments! Go girls!!
