Katy Perry 'says no' to rock'n'roll wedding

He is known for his rock'n'roll lifestyle and partying ways, so it may come as no surprise that Russell Brand would like a suitably extravagant wedding venue.

The comedian reportedly wants to tie the knot at the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles, which has welcomed many A-list celebrities and musicians through its doors since 1963.

However, a source has claimed that his fiancee Katy Perry is not keen on the idea, especially his suggestion of having a blessing in one of the studios.

The insider stated that her "ultra-religious" parents would be "crushed" if she did not walk down the aisle of a church in her wedding dress.

It seems as though Brand may be keen to please his wife-to-be however, as the informant added: "Russ said she can have whatever she wants - as long as his mum's there."
