David Walliams and Lara Stone are like "love-struck teens" who cannot wait to get married, it has been claimed.

Speaking to the Sun, a source claimed that the couple are so eager to get married that they have rearranged the date of their ceremony.

This means that they could be sending out a new set of wedding invitations as they reportedly want the event to take place on March 27th.

"Couples usually give themselves up to a year to get hitched. They've given themselves a matter of weeks," the insider added.

However, the change of plan means that some of Walliams' celebrity friends may not be able to attend.

It is thought that Jimmy Carr, who was set to be best man and make a wedding speech, will be working in Scotland on the day of the nuptials.

While Walliams is known for starring in Little Britain, Stone is a top model who has recently taken over from Sasha Pivovarova as the face of Prada's Infusion d'Iris fragrance.
