Handmade wedding gifts 'may be remembered forever'

Gifts can often be tricky to purchase unless a couple has sent out a
wedding list of items they want.
After all, with so many people already living together before they tie the knot, they are probably well stocked up on crockery, cutlery and other odds and ends.
Rebecca Black, etiquette specialist at Etiquette Now in Davis, California, says that handmade presents can be the ideal solution as it is the thought, not the cost of the
wedding gift that counts.
"It's quite appropriate and means a lot more, you remember it - and you don't tend to remember that beautiful vase that got broken," she explained to the Associated Press.
Guests with a passion for sewing could make a special wedding quilt while a family heirloom that will bring back memories of the big event could also be a good idea.
Women could give the bride a crafty present they made during her hen celebrations, as the Guardian recently reported that instead of a drunken night out, many ladies are attending art or creative classes before their big day.
