Brides 'swapping white' for brightly coloured shoes

A beautiful white wedding dress is one thing that many women may have been dreaming about for their whole life.

While this may be something they are not willing to compromise on when the big day finally arrives, many brides are becoming a little more adventurous with the shoes they wear, it has been reported.

Weddings Unveiled stated that there is an increasing trend for women to choose bright or unusual footwear that shows off a bit of their personality.

One look that is proving to be popular is brightly-coloured shoes that add a "fun pop" to a bride's outfit.

"Hot pink, yellow, purple, you name it… It's a great way to add a surprising peek of color under your layers of tulle," the blog states.

It also explains that shoes can be matched to the colours of the decorations or wedding flowers the brides is carrying to bring a sense of unity to the occasion.

Another pretty accessory that brides could add to their outfit is a fascinator, as Tyrina Neely recently told the Nassau Guardian that they are popular hair decorations.
