Paramore guitarist 'missing tour to plan wedding'

Josh Farro is set to swap his guitar for wedding flowers as his band Paramore enter the Pacific leg of their world tour because he needs time to plan his marriage.

Rhythm guitarist Taylor York's brother Justin will fill in for the string of shows, while Farro makes arrangements for his special day with fiancee Jenna, who he described as "the most amazing woman".

The star's engagement means that he will miss gigs in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the Philippines and Singapore while he makes arrangements for his nuptials and the inevitable honeymoon.

Farro wrote on the band's website: "I know it's strange having someone fill in for me. I don't like it any more than you guys do, but this is the most important thing in the world to me and I trust you all will understand."

Paramore's 2007 album Riot! has sold over two million copies worldwide and the American group were nominated in 2008 for a best new artist Grammy award.
