Hollywood glamour 'a big hair trend for brides'

Hollywood glamour and 1940s waves are likely to be big hair trends for brides as they organise their wedding favours and plan their nuptials in 2010.

This is because, according to one expert, celebrities are sparking several new trends with their locks, one of which is hair adornment.

Jules Holland, creative director at Mark Hill Salon, said that many famous faces are wearing their hair in low-slung chignons, decorated with diamante clips.

This could be the perfect style to complement a beautiful wedding dress and also add a touch of sparkle to the bride's outfit.

"These are really good for that kind of [mid-length] hair," Ms Holland continued. "Feathers in hair have been really big, big diamonds – things like that."

She also noted that the "big and bouncy blow-dry" look is becoming increasingly popular thanks to the likes of Cheryl Cole.

Meanwhile, a study conducted by OnePoll recently revealed that when women plan a night out, such as a hen party, they spend an average of three days, five hours and 22 minutes organising it.
