Could Simon Cowell finally have found 'the one'?

Could this be the year that Simon Cowell starts wedding planning and gets down on one knee?

The X Factor judge has been spotted out and about with makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy and after months of secrecy is seems as though the pair are finally admitting to being an item.

They visited posh restaurant Mr Chow in Knightsbridge over the weekend and were joined by the entertainment king's ex-girlfriend Jackie St Claire and her husband Carl.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source said: "Simon and Mezhgan started off as friends, but it has started to develop into something more."

They added that the pair "get on extremely well" and the 36-year-old beauty is "not in the least bit starstruck" by the multi-millionaire.

The couple first met on American Idol back in 2003, according to the news provider.

If he does organise wedding photography in 2010, Simon will undoubtedly have plenty of money to spend on the bash, as his TV company reportedly made £21 million last year.
