Try an alternative to traditional wedding flowers

Wedding flowers are undoubtedly an important part of any big day.

They can brighten up the wedding venue and a beautiful bouquet is something that really adds to the bride's outfit when she walks down the aisle.

However, instead of having a traditional arrangement of lilies or roses on stands around the room, one expert has made an alternative suggestion.

Speaking to the Victoria Advocate, Ginger Patterson, a designer with McAdams Floral, said that a new trend for submerged floral arrangements is emerging.

This is when a selection of blooms are placed in tall containers filled with water and this may look stunning placed at either end of the altar.

Ms Patterson also pointed out that because fewer flowers are used, this idea is not as expensive as more traditional options.

Earlier this week, Stephanie Granados told the Sun News that she had a decorating party with her family and friends to get the venue ready for her big day.
