Bride and groom 'delighted' after white wedding dream comes true

A couple who were married in Southowram in Yorkshire recently were delighted when their dream of a white wedding came true in the depths of winter.
Royal marine Richard Lock, aged 26, and 23-year-old Laura Smith got hitched with a glow of white surrounding them - something that may make many couples green with envy, reported the Brighouse Echo.
The blushing bride wore an off-the-shoulder wedding dress, while her partner opted for his smart military uniform.
Mr Lock invited some of his army colleagues to the ceremony, which he told the newspaper was something that made the day even more special.
"It made me feel really proud, because some of the lads have been through a lot," he told the newspaper.
After the ceremony, Mr and Mrs Lock headed off to the Lake District to enjoy a romantic honeymoon and more snow.
Meanwhile, marrying in winter can have other bonuses, according to Chicago RSVP, including replacing traditional drinks with hot beverages and having an excuse to feature beautiful shawls in wedding snaps.
