More couples 'booking wedding venues abroad'

It seems that more and more people are looking at
wedding venues abroad when arranging their big day.
New figures released by Thomson and First Choice reveal that there has been a 35 per cent increase in the number of people choosing to tie the knot on an exotic beach or sunny location.
The firms believe that this could be because the cost of a
wedding cake and other expenses are likely to be much cheaper abroad.
"This is because generally you will have less people to cater for, extras like photographers and flowers tend to be cheaper and the cost of venues tends to be less," First Choice explained.
Furthermore, the increased chances of getting married on a beautiful sunny day are appealing to many people.
Those who do decide to stay in the UK for their wedding may find that they can save money over Christmas, as many venues will already have decorations up for the occasion.
