Shilpa Shetty: My wedding felt like a dream

Shilpa Shetty has revealed that her wedding was a traditional and intimate affair that turned out just as she had always dreamed it would be.

The newlywed, who wore an elaborate red and gold Indian wedding dress for her big day, explained that although this has been one of the most exhausting weeks of her life, she is also very happy.

Although many fans and gatecrashers tried to sneak into the reception to get a glimpse of the action, Shilpa revealed that the ceremony at the wedding venue was very low-key.

She also joked that she has jaw-ache from smiling so much.

"I felt like it was all a dream. My wedding was exactly the way I had imagined it," the actress added.

As well as appearing in numerous Bollywood films, Shilpa made an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 and went on to win after she was involved in arguments with fellow contestants Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara.
