Top tips to achieve the perfect wedding pictures

When the wedding speech is being given and the bride throws her bouquet for one guest to catch, the couple will undoubtedly want plenty of pictures of their big day.

To ensure that their wedding photography provides them with happy memories of the ceremony, one expert has offered couples some advice on how to get the perfect snaps.

Writing for Women24, professional portrait and wedding photographer Warren Williams says that it is better if newlyweds lose their inhibitions and relax in front of the camera.

This way they will avoid the "conventional 'stand and pose' wedding photography", he claims.

"I'm not saying you need to be silly and stupid - just be prepared to take yourselves a little further," Mr Williams advises.

In related news, Heather Levine, fashion editor at The Knot, recently advised those taking part in a Washington Post web discussion that they should avoid wearing sequins if they do not want to outshine the bride in photographs.
