Grooms 'should not wear too much product in hair'

Husbands-to-be who are concerned about what grooming techniques they should adopt ahead of the big day may benefit from cutting down the amount of hair product they use.

According to award-winning hairstylist Errol Douglas, the last thing a groom wants is to look bad in his wedding photographs.

One way to avoid this, he explained, is to ensure that their hair looks good on the big day.

"There are so many things you can do to stop your hair looking too shiny, that's why you shouldn't use too many products," he said.

The expert added that when it comes to choosing between a clean-shaven look and designer stubble, guys should be aware that a bit of growth can end up looking like "an overnight hangover".

Meanwhile, brides-to-be who are currently deliberating over what to do with their hair should match the style to their wedding dress and also tailor their makeup accordingly.
