Police couple to wed on 999 date

As a superstitious nation, it is highly unlikely that many couples would have chosen to tie the knot back on June 6th 2006.
But bride and groom-to-be Jacqueline Felton and Michael Aldred believe that their wedding date will be a lucky one for them.
The couple from Plymouth, who are both police officers, are currently in the midst of
wedding planning for a ceremony on September 9th 2009 - 9/9/9.
Although the date wasn't originally planned with any significant meaning behind it, when the pair realised the importance of the digits, they were over the moon.
Jacqueline, 30, told Metro: "It wasn't until a friend said 'you realise the date?' that we saw the significance of 9/9/9 and thought it was a great idea."
While most couples' nuptials go off without a hitch, there is an odd few who may as well have married on 6/6/6.
Harry and Claire Arnold from Durham spent their big night in a jail cell for drunk and disorderly behaviour with the bride still wearing her
wedding dress, the Sun recently reported.
