Intimate wedding venue for Ali Larter

Heroes star Ali Larter and her actor fiance Hayes MacArthur have picked a small wedding venue for their nuptials in Maine this weekend.

Engaged since 2007, the couple will tie the knot after nearly two years of wedding planning at the groom's family home, witnessed by a small group of family and friends, reports In Touch magazine.

Larter's close friend, actress Amy Smart, is said to be among the select few who received wedding invitations to the event.

Some of MacArthur's school friends will also join the celebrations. A source told In Touch: "Hayes is really excited to spend time with a lot of his old buddies that he played football with at Bowdoin College in Maine."

The couple's engagement party was a bigger affair, with about 100 pals joining them to celebrate at the Sunset Tower hotel in Los Angeles.

Prior to their engagement, the pair dated for five years.
