Coronation Street's Tupele Dorgu ties the knot

Coronation Street actress Tupele Dorgu does not have much luck with love on the famous cobbled streets of Weatherfield, but when it comes to real life, she seems to have found true love.

The actress, who plays factory worker Kelly in the soap, tied the knot on Saturday with fiance Mark Flanagan in a ceremony at Manchester Cathedral, the Daily Mail reports.

However, despite previously revealing all the details of her engagement and wedding planning, Tupele was camera shy on the day, having reportedly signed a deal giving exclusive photography rights to a glossy magazine.

As such, the star's wedding dress is yet to be revealed. However, that did not stop guests at the ceremony putting on a show.

Her co-stars Katherine Kelly, Vicky Binns and Alison King all appeared at the venue looking elegant yet sexy in bold red dresses.

Those who do not know Tupele from her role in Coronation Street may be more familiar with her due to her participation in reality singing contest Soapstar Superstar in 2007, in which she lasted until the semi-finals.
