Stars of The Hills wed in Beverley Hills

Reality TV show stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who most couch potatoes will know from MTV's The Hills, have tied the knot.

Despite much speculation over the last year concerning whether the pair would actually get married or if their ill-fated intentions were just a series of publicity stunts, months of elaborate wedding planning finally culminated at the weekend in a beautiful Beverley Hills affair.

The Christian ceremony was attended by fellow stars of The Hills, including Lauren Conrad, who has famously feuded with the bride and groom in the past.

Spencer's sister Stephanie and Heidi's sister Holly, who also appear in the show, were bridesmaids.

Stephanie told MTV News in the US: "Heidi looked amazing. She was wearing a million dollars worth of diamonds over a strapless Monique Lhullier wedding dress."

The bride carried a bouquet of yellow roses, which was matched by her maids' pale lemon gowns.
