Shetty 'to wed in October'

Bollywood starlet Shilpa Shetty may have to enlist the help of a wedding planning specialist in the very near future if recent reports are to be believed.

The Indian beauty has allegedly set the date for her wedding to boyfriend of two years Raj Kundra.

According to reports, the former Celebrity Big Brother star is to tie the knot in October this year.

Wedding invitations are likely to inform guests that the affair will be a customary Indian one, to echo Shetty's own traditional views of marriage.

"I've seen my parents maintain a 35-year marriage and I really believe marriages are made in heaven … the day I tie the knot, it is going to be for good," she said.

As for their honeymoon, the couple could be set to holiday in England, considering they recently bought a mansion in Surrey.

However, any break on these shores may be short-lived if Shetty's agent Max Clifford has any say.

The PR guru recently revealed that the star is in talks with a number of TV chiefs, which could see her secure a role in EastEnders.
