Paris' beau proposes while meeting the parents

Celebrity socialite Paris Hilton is reportedly considering the possibility of wedding invitations after new squeeze Doug Reinhardt made a surprise marriage proposal this week.

New Hollywood reports reveal that the 28-year-old starlet is taking time out to think about their relationship after Doug popped the question during dinner with her parents in LA on Tuesday (March 24th).

Prior to the dinner date with the future in-laws, the Hills star posted on social networking site Twitter: "I'm about to do something very exciting and life-changing. I'll announce what happens later."

The 23-year-old gave Paris a designer engagement ring, which she has kept in its box since the event, showbiz rumours suggest.

Paris and Doug have been dating since the beginning of the year and have already talked about having kids.

However, the seemingly reluctant bride-to-be separated from long-term boyfriend Benji Madden in November last year and so may be not be ready for wedding planning just yet.

One thing is for sure, the Hilton's will be spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing a wedding venue.
