Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem planning winter wedding

Former Westlife heartthrob Brian McFadden is reportedly ready to set a date for his upcoming nuptials to fiancee, Aussie singer Delta Goodrem.

The 28-year-old Irish boy band star proposed to the ex-Neighbours actress while on a romantic trip to Bali back in 2007, but has yet to confirm a date for their wedding invitations.

Now the singer has revealed that he and Delta are hoping to tie the knot at a wedding venue down under before the end of the year.

Commenting on the couple's wedding planning recently, Brian said: "We're looking at the end of the year, Christmas time, in Australia. During the next couple of weeks, we'll definitely be setting a date."

The bride and groom-to-be have been dating since 2004 and currently live together in Australia. They first met while working on a duet, entitled Almost Here.

Brian was previously married to former Atomic Kitten turned reality TV star Kerry Katona, with whom he had two daughters, Molly and Lily-Sue.
