Bette Midler sent 24 year old wedding photos

American singer and actress Bette Midler recently saw her wedding photography for the first time, more than two decades after tying the knot.

The 63-year-old star received photos taken of her 1984 nuptials to husband, contemporary performance artist Martin von Haselberg, in Las Vegas, 24 years after tying the knot.

Bette and Martin exchanged marriage vows in a brief ceremony led by an Elvis impersonator at a Las Vegas chapel, but never had photos of the day to add to a wedding album - until now.

Explaining how she came across the memorable pictures, Bette told Contactmusic.com: "I got a letter from the guy, saying, 'I'm closing my chapel and I thought you'd like these.' He sent us our photos and we looked like children."

The couple have one child together, 21-year-old daughter Sophie, who is currently studying at Harvard University.

A screen icon, Midler is best known for her roles in hit movies such as Big Business, The Women and Hocus Pocus.
