Keep kids entertained with wedding activities

Stressed brides who are anxious about including children in their
wedding planning can take advantage of a new idea that aims to keep kids entertained on the big day.
While the tradition of having flower girls and page boys in the bridal party can look great in
wedding photography, the duration of the day can often be too much for younger children, running the risk of tantrums by the time the reception has begun.
"Children at a wedding can be lovely, but long speeches and having to sit still can test the patience of even the most angelic child. Normally parents have to pack a few toys or crayons in their bag when going to a wedding with their children," said Katie Burnett, children's party organiser.
The Wedding Activity Box contains puzzles, games, books and stickers to keep kids occupied when the novelty wares off and interest in wedding formalities begins to wane.
"Grown up guests get to enjoy their child-free time and children get to have their own 'big day' but still be part of yours," Ms Burnett added.
Having more than one child in the wedding party can help alleviate boredom and avoid any unnecessary upset or family drama among relatives.
