Have Bilbo the Barn Owl as your Ring Bearer

104.9 Imagine FM (www.imaginefm.net) and  Debenhams Trafford Centre have teamed up to present Manchester’s premier wedding exhibition, which will be held at The Hilton, Manchester Airport on Sunday 1st March 2009.

At this year’s event Imagine FM will be offering brides to be an exclusive demonstration of an alternative ring bearer for their big day.

Bilbo the barn owl, named after the ring bearer from Lord of the Rings will be swooping into the two fashion shows to demonstrate an extra special alternative to the traditional ring bearer.

This will be the first demonstration of the service to be held in South Manchester. The experienced owl carries both rings to the gloved hand of the groom, best man, or supervising falconer. This unique experience makes the perfect gift for the bride and groom on their special day. It is the first and only organisation in the world to offer this type of service.

Some of the proceeds from the wedding service are intended to support the Light Water Valley Birds of Prey Centre’s conservation efforts with reference to barn owls in the wild, for e.g.

The Barn Owl Nest Project.
