New musical wedding video trend popular with Brits

A new form of wedding video has hit the UK market that features the bride and groom in their own musical production.

One couple, Andrew and Caroline Coates, decided to act out scenes from Disney movie Enchanted for their unique wedding video, with friends and family taking part as cast members, the Telegraph reports.

Wedding videographer Jennifer Page told the newspaper: "The actual filming took most of the wedding day. Andrew and Caroline had a very short ceremony and made sure the speeches weren't too long so we had plenty of time to shoot the video.

"We tried to involve as many people as possible because the video is such an important part of a wedding day."

Rather than capture the newlyweds' first dance at the reception, the videographer follows the couple throughout the day dancing and acting out popular scenes from their favourite musical for an alternative memory.

Earlier this month, the Mirror reported that John Prescott starred in a couple's wedding video in Hull, after being asked to give away the bride.
